Volodymyr Sheiko

Volodymyr Sheiko is an arts and culture management and marketing and communications professional, with twenty years of experience in cultural diplomacy. A member of PEN Ukraine, he has been leading the Ukrainian Institute since its founding in 2018. Previously, he was the arts director at British Council Ukraine and a regional arts and communications manager for fifteen countries of South-East Europe and Central Asia. He has organized and produced numerous cultural projects and events in theatre, literature, film, creative industries, music, and visual art. A graduate of the Institute of International Relations at Kyiv National University, the Institute of Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California, the School for Strategy Architects, and Aspen Institute Kyiv, he also holds an Executive MBA degree from the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
