CIUS at 50: Looking Back, Reflecting Forward will bring together community members, scholars, and supporters for an inspiring evening of connection and heritage in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Come and meet celebrated intellectuals from around the world who are taking part in the CIUS international symposium, “Recentring the Humanities: Ukraine and the World.” The program will feature an exclusive “fireside chat” with past and present CIUS directors, offering unique reflections on five decades of achievements and a forward-looking perspective on the institute’s future, alongside the launch of our jubilee book In Many Voices… and a curated silent auction benefiting future research initiatives.
