Lila Roldán Vàzquez

Ambassador Lila Roldán Vázquez is Secretary-General and Head of the Eurasian Affairs Committee on the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI). She is a Magister of European Communitarian Law from Complutense University (Spain). Positions held in the Argentine Foreign Ministry include Ambassador to Ukraine (2007–15), Undersecretary of State for Latin America, Director General for Foreign Policy, main negotiator of the Political pillar in the MERCOSUR-EU Agreement, and Deputy Head of the South America directorate. She also served at the Argentine Embassies in México and Spain and the General Consulate in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Former professor of public international law at the National University, Buenos Aires.
