Liliana Musaieva

Liliana Musaieva is a Master’s student in history at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Her research interests focus on Crimea during the early period of its colonization by the Russian Empire, following the annexation of the peninsula in 1783. In 2026 her bachelor’s thesis, “The Oriental image of the Crimean Tatars in European travel literature of the late 18th and early 19th centuries,” won first place in the Crimean Focus competition among NaUKMA students.
