Oksana Dudko
Oksana Dudko is an assistant professor of German and Slavic studies and political science at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. A historian and curator, she received her Candidate of Sciences degree from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine) and her PhD from the University of Toronto. Recent publications include “Gate-crashing ‘European’ and ‘Slavic’ area studies: Can Ukrainian studies transform the fields?” (Canadian Slavonic Papers, 2023) and “Teaching Eastern Europe in the age of Russia’s imperial invasions” (History Workshop Journal, 2025). Her current book project is titled "Inter-Imperial Soldiers: War, Violence, and Nationhood in Ukraine, 1914–20."
